Weekend get-away

So last week, I was able to vouch myself from the usual food challenges of 

my daily life. So, cheers for happy weekend.

I was succumb to try out other things in store for me. 

Pasta and, chicken and pizza for this week.

Mom was in town and we spent the week at 

Apo View Hotel. Since we're there, we caught ourselves

spending at Pagcor :(

spent too much.

  

So, while I was waiting for my mom, I stayed here.. and then we went to

T.G.I.Fridays

corn on a cob. nomnomnom it is.

ice cream and cake in one.

Since weekends are for movie dates, 

Before we watched a movie preview,

we stopped by YellowCab for a bite.

and my favorite potato wedges.

And take home pizza.

New York's Finest. :)

ice cream to fill the tummy after a good dinner.

And some mango tea. Must try.

Only in Davao. They brewed the mango and made it into a tea!

These are a few of my favorite things

When the dog bites, when the bee stings,

when I'm feeling sad.

I simply remember my favorite thing and 

then I won't feel so bad.

My red pumps that makes my legs awesomely sexy,

that F21 black lacy dress that is both comfortable and hot.

Stuff toys remind me of my youth,

books that keep me up all night,

Japanese food and some milk tea,

more chocolates.

more food to spare. food, food, food 

that delights my senses but keeps my shape.

Good friends that can paint the town red.

My bestfriend in the world, the one who gives me all sorts of emotions.

That same guy who makes me fall in love over and over again for the past 5 years

The world is sweeter around the bend

Oooh the sweetest thing

Because food is such a sweet thing, here I am, longing to punch myself with

more than just sweet nothings.. this time, I was off to Chocolatier Boutique Cafe with my

friend/classmate.

Since, we need a little perk me up before the sem starts (and our last one! hopefully), 

I treated myself decadence and sweet nothings.

Here are some of my favorite things.

Oh, yes.. Guiltless crime indeed.

The mango and melon combined with green and red apple on a semi-sweetened

chocolate made it extra special to the palate.

It was a lovely combination because it wasn't all that sweet.

The strawberry sauce also came surprisingly good.

Ritter Sport Chocolate... in all sorts of sizes. Yum.

Who says chocolates come in small packages?

The wonders of Chocolatier is how they combined chocolate

with different sorts of flavors.

Waffles can come oh soooo sweetly too.

But you can never imagine chocolate

with spice in it. Right? :)

But if you're fond of chocolates inside and out, this one's for you.

Minty fresh may also be soothing.

How about some tasty filling?

Sugar and spice and everything nice.

This one's for the road. :)

You can also have truffles and cookies of all sorts.

And if bouquet is too mainstream, 

why not try the chocolate bouquet.

happy birthday starts with a cake and some candles to blow
